Pigs in a blanket

Looking for a snack to make with the kids? These cute little pigs in a blanket are just what you need. With their crispy exterior and tasty filling, they are sure to be a hit.

INGREDIENTS
Pigs in blankets
  • 4 REFRÄNG vegetable sausages
  • 4 KORV sausages
  • 265 g fresh puff pastry
  • 1 egg
Dip sauce
  • 2 dl yoghurt, plant-based or regular
  • 1/2–1 tsp cumin
  • 1–2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2–1 tsp oregano
  • Salt
   
     Serves 16         20 mins.


STEP BY STEP
1. Heat the oven to 200C.
2. Cut the sausages in half.
3. Cut the puff pastry into eight large squares, then cut each square diagonally so there are 16 triangles.
4. Roll up the sausages in the pastry, starting with the wide side. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
5. Whisk the egg lightly and brush the puff pastry with it.
6. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until they have a nice colour.
7. Mix the yoghurt with cumin, paprika powder, and oregano. Taste the dip sauce with salt and pepper.

TIP!

Serve these cute pigs in blankets with multiple dipping sauces,
and let the kids make their own. Enjoy!
