"When we designed IKEA 365+ knife, we wanted to make a knife that inspires people to cook good food. The quality must be high for the knife to awaken the appetite and withstand everyday use for many years. That’s why it’s made in one single piece of stainless steel and has a timeless design that you never tire of. Grooves in the handle give a firm, secure grip, and keep the knife from slipping in your hand. We hope it will be your everyday favorite and the obvious choice when you’re preparing food."

Well balanced and safe function

IKEA 365+ knife makes it both easier and more fun to cook. The grooves in the handle give a firm and secure grip that keeps the knife from slipping in your hand. It is also lightweight and pleasant to work with, because it is made in one single piece of stainless steel and therefore very well balanced. The knife is also easy to clean so you will want and be able to use it every day, all year round.

Quality with sharpness

IKEA 365+ knife is made of carefully selected molybdenum/vanadium steel. This means that it stays sharp for a very long time and that the blade is hard and flexible at the same time. The knife is also very durable and easy to clean, as it is made of stainless steel. Together with timeless design, that makes the knife able to withstand being used everyday for many years. And that in turn makes cooking both easier and more fun for you.

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing items – without losing its valuable properties.
