Designer
Designer Sven Fristedt
Like floating in the blue sky This pattern, created by designer Sven Fristedt, was initially called MOLN when it was launched on one of our first duvet covers in 1973. Back then it was screen printed. To enable more production at a lower price, Sven later adapted the pattern for rotary printing. In the 1981 IKEA catalogue, SKYAR was launched on a duvet cover, on pre-cut fabric and on wallpaper. A success that has now been brought back to life on ÄNGSVITVINGE duvet cover set in the Nytillverkad collection.
