For use at table height: Mount the table to the wall so that the top edge of the table top reaches a height of ca. 29⅛".
For use at bar table height: Mount the table to the wall so that the top edge of the table top reaches a height of ca. 37⅜" or 41¾", depending on seat height of the bar chair.
Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home.
A place for two - when you want
A wall-mounted drop-leaf table saves floor space, which can make it a practical solution if space is tight. When it's time to eat, you simply fold up the drop-leaf, and fold it down when you're done to save space for other activities. You decide for yourself at what height you want to mount the table. As a rule of thumb, there should be about 12" between the chair seat and the table top. Complement with ordinary chairs or higher bar stools. A smart solution for two.
From drop-leaf table to shelf
Because the table top on NORBERG is in two pieces, you get a small shelf against the wall when you fold down the table. This way, you can keep things like salt and pepper shakers or candle sticks on the table, even when it's folded down. Attractive and practical!
