Children are the most important people of the world for us, and we care about everything related to playing, their safety and education. We want to reach the Canary and Balearic Islands families even more, recognizing the fundamental role of Education. That is why, being able to collaborate with this grain of sand with projects to improve the education of the little ones is so rewarding for us as a brand, and also for those who are part of IKEA Canary and Balearic Islands. We are escited knowing that our range of furniture and decoration items can help materialize these projects along with the Preschool teachers staff, always as a part of their vocation." explains Julio Varela, IKEA Canary and Balearic Islands Marketing manager.
The contribution provided to Loida González will be destined to a very special project that meets the values linked to personal and educational development, as well as the use of creativity to solve day to day situations, contributing to the education of the little ones for their next school year. According to the Marketing manager "Not many teachers can represent the values of our new project like Loida does, due to the way she has of refering to "their boys and girls", her professionalism, charisma and her project for the 2024/2025 school year".
“I want to express my most sincere gratitude to IKEA Canary and Balearic Islands (...) The collaboration with IKEA has provided me with this furniture that is very useful for me and necessary because it encourages that creativity that I always try to project in class and that helps me make the students want to explore without worries. (...) I'm very excited for being able to provide my students with this opportunity thanks to the collaboration that they wanted me to be a part of, I feel very appreciated, and specially very excited for being able to use all this material with my students at class", comments Loida.
alos, Loida explains that “the participation of my students has improved, since they have such a positive, magic and attractive space for them, they want to participate even more, they have another attitude toward learning. (...) We are on the way of achieving a very significant improvement of the students' performance. Thank you for believing on the importance of creative and safe spaces for children's learning, as specially for joining us in this trip that is teaching.”
